The Museum of Illusions in Zadar opened its doors today, and visitors who are looking for good entertainment can undergo intriguing visual, sensory and educational experiences with a lot of new, yet unseen illusions. The fascinating world of illusions that this museum provides has been specially designed to be make visitors doubt their senses and is a place that brings joy and fun to people of all ages: children, parents, couples, grandparents, and of course tourists, reports tportal.hr on June 6, 2016.
The first visitors had the opportunity to boldly step into the Vortex tunnel of illusions, which is the first tunnel of its kind in this part of Europe. Vortex surprised anyone who tried to pass through a rotating cylinder in an effort to make the next step on a completely flat and stable surface. Visitors have been delighted with a room full of mirrors which, thanks to a variety of shapes and angles of reflection, distorts objects and people, providing a new and unusual view of the reality.
The novelty in the Museum of Illusions in Zadar is also a room with a chair which shows just how amazing perception of the size of the person you are looking at is, depending on the context that is suggested by the objects around the person, which make the person in the chair seem extremely small with respect to the other people in the room. Visitors are also able to try numerous didactic and logical toys and puzzles that have proved to be very difficult to solve, but at the same time they provide a lot of entertainment.
The large number of exhibits, as well as fun and attractive deceptions in the Museum of Illusions, teach visitors something about the mind, perception, human brain and science behind the illusions so they can better understand why the eyes see things that the brain does not understand.
The Museum of Illusions in Zadar will surely become one of the most popular city destinations this summer and visitors will be able to photograph their experiences in the museum and share them on social networks. The Museum is open daily from 9 am to midnight.
